    By including Beyond the Walls in your will or trust, you can ensure that our kingdom-focused vision, mission and work will continue for years to come. Bequests of all sizes, of both financial assets and real estate, maintain and strengthen our ability to help further our mission and work. A testamentary gift to Beyond the Walls can also help you meet financial and estate planning goals. Your bequest will qualify your estate for a charitable deduction equal to the entire amount of the bequest.

    Testamentary gifts to Beyond the Walls may take two forms:

    • Cash Bequest – Beyond the Walls receives a specific dollar amount 
    • Specific Bequest or Devise of Property – Beyond the Walls receives specified assets, such as securities or 
    • an interest in real estate.

    Matching Gifts 


    Many companies provide matching gift programs, doubling or tripling an employee’s contribution to Beyond the Walls. Check with your company’s human resources department to determine its matching gift policy. Matching gift employers will provide a form to complete and send to Beyond the Walls along with your donation. We will verify your gift and return the form to your company, which then issues a matching gift contribution to Beyond the Walls. 


    Honoring Friends and Family


    Beyond the Walls can help you honor friends and family in a meaningful way throughout the year. For religious celebrations, birthdays, Mother’s and Father’s Days, Teacher Appreciation Week, Administrative Professional’s Day – any day. Simply send your check (or donate online) to Beyond the Walls and include the name of your honoree. We will send a gift card in your name.

    Beyond the Walls provides a variety of opportunities to establish a meaningful partnership with

    foundations, corporations and local business. Your financial contribution will directly impact the

    lives of so many individuals and families living in poverty. Sponsorship opportunities provide

    donors with a range of recognition and event opportunities, including visibility on signage, in

    advertising, on our website, and in e-communications. Corporate funding and business sponsorship

    of Beyond the Walls is an opportunity for companies to enhance their visibility among local,

    regional, and national audiences.


    In-kind Gifts


    Beyond the Walls relies heavily on in-kind or non-cash gifts of goods and services. In fact, we

    could not operate without them. The types of items and services that we can use are virtually

    endless, but a list of some of our most-needed items is provided below:

    • Services such as printing, graphic design, copy-writing, information technology or other professional services.
